Bell times and dates
Our school day is structured around a clear timetable. We have set times for learning sessions, activities and breaks. Understanding the bell times helps students get the most out of each part of the day.
It's important for students to arrive on time each day. If your child is running late, please contact our front office.
Playground supervision
Teacher supervision at Moss Vale Public School begins at 8.30 am each morning. For safety reasons, parents are kindly asked not to drop their child off before this time.
If before or after-school care is needed, please contact the Country Childrens Early Learning team (OOSH) for further details and arrangements. After School Care

Staff Development Days (SDD)
These days are for professional development of staff and there are no school lessons provided at the school. Lessons resume for students on the morning following Staff Development Days at the beginning of term.
Term 1
- Tuesday 27, Wed 28, Thur 29 and Fri 30 January 2026 - SDDs - Staff Only
- Monday 2 February Students first day including Kindergarten
- Monday 2 February - Thursday 2 April - Students attend
- Friday 3 April - Good Friday - Public Holiday
- Monday 6 April - Easter Monday - Public Holiday
- Friday 25 April - ANZAC Day - Public Holiday
- Autumn school holidays - Tuesday 7 April to Friday 17 April (note: Monday 6 April is a public holiday for Easter Monday)
